AirTrunk’s flagship Malaysia data centre, AirTrunk JHB1 in Johor Bahru, officially opened on Tuesday, 30 July 2024.
The launch included guests from MIDA, MDEC, TNB, MBIP, IRDA and Invest Johor who were taken on an immersive journey to experience AirTrunk JHB1 – where the cloud meets the ground in Malaysia.
A traditional welcome was performed by the Orang Orang Drum Theatre group, followed by the official data centre launch by YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, YB Tuan Lee Ting Han, Member of Johor State Executive Council, Her Excellency Ms Danielle Heinecke, Australia’s High Commissioner to Malaysia, and from AirTrunk, Robin Khuda, Founder & CEO, Mark Barnaba, Chairman, and Lim Pei Jet, Head of Malaysia.
