AirTrunk meet with The Most Honorable Menteri Besar Johor

A delegation of AirTrunkers, including Founder and CEO Robin Khuda, Deputy CEO Michael Juniper, CTO Damien Spillane, CSO Zak Markovic and Senior Advisor, Malaysia Al-Ishsal Ishak (毅史延), met with The Most Honorable Menteri Besar Johor, YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi to discuss the progress AirTrunk is making expanding into Johor.

In January 2023, AirTrunk announced its entry into Malaysia with plans to develop a hyperscale data centre to accelerate digitalisation in the region, facilitate the country’s position as an artificial intelligence (AI) hub and advance the aspirations of Malaysia’s MyDIGITAL Corporation.

Discussions focused on AirTrunk’s contribution to the local economy, including local jobs, digitalisation, sustainable innovations and social impact initiatives. We expressed our appreciation to the Johor government for their support and shared our ambitions to drive sustainable development in the country.
