Last week AirTrunk joined Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade)’s event held at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo – ‘Japan’s Data Centre Transformation: Addressing the challenges and opportunities’.
As Japan experiences rapid digital transformation, driven by its role as a regional hub, experts from government and industry shared their thoughts on emerging opportunities for Japan’s economy, enabled by digital infrastructure.
Thank you to:

AirTrunk’s Founder & CEO Robin Khuda shared AirTrunk’s growth story in Japan and the economic and social contribution our digital infrastructure is delivering in Japan. Robin then joined a panel discussion on opportunities for ongoing Japan-Australia collaboration in advancing digital cooperation in the region, progress in achieving carbon neutrality and the infrastructure needed to support AI development.
Robin was joined on the panel by:
- Mitsuhiro Nishida, Director, Investment Promotion Division, GX Group, Innovation and Environment Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

The event follows AirTrunk’s participation at Digital Garden Tokyo and Women in Data Centers events in Japan earlier this month, demonstrating how important Japan is to AirTrunk as we scale and sustain the relentless growth of the region’s digital future.
