Powering Japan’s digital future

AirTrunk Founder & CEO Robin Khuda sat down with Nikkei to discuss AirTrunk’s role in powering Japan’s digital future, with ¥1.3 trillion in planned investment by the year 2030.

As demand for AI and cloud infrastructure surges, Japan’s strategic position and dynamic tech ecosystem makes it a key growth market for AirTrunk.

Robin said: “AI continues to grow and there’s strong demand for the cloud and digital infrastructure that supports it. Some companies plan to double their capital expenditure in 2025 compared to the previous year. There’s a lot of room for growth in the future.”

AirTrunk’s platform of hyperscale data centres supports a connected and sustainable future for Japan.
