In FY23, more than half of AirTrunk\u2019s new hires were women.<\/p>\n<p>We have focused on creating a supportive environment that encourages career growth for women, including mentorship programs, leadership development initiatives, industry-leading policies and flexible work arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>We are also the first publicly known corporate to include a gender pay equity KPI in our Sustainability Linked Loan (SLL), and this has encouraged a company-wide drive to focus on achieving pay equity targets and gender balance. We wanted to understand the many factors that contribute to pay equity and move beyond the WEGA compliance to gain insights into our data and to make more informed remuneration decisions.<\/p>\n<p>And, if we meet the SLL KPIs, we realise a margin reduction on our debt facilities, equating to several millions of dollars, which we are reinvesting into a fund dedicated to supporting our social impact program across Asia-Pacific &amp; Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the entire AirTrunk team, but special thanks must go to Emma Spence. We\u2019re humbled by our results, and know that there is still more work to do to ensure people are paid according to their skills and experience.<\/p>\n<p>About WGEA<br \/>\n\u2022 For the first time, the Australian Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has published the size of the average pay packet at almost every company with 100 or more employees.<br \/>\n\u2022 Across the more than 5.3 million employees in the dataset, the gap between the total median earnings of men and women was 18.3 per cent in 2023-2024 that means for every $1 on average a man makes, women earn around 81.7
