Today, Google, AirTrunk, and European Energy Australia announced that the 25-megawatt (MW) solar farm in the Riverina district of New South Wales is reaching completion and about to hit the grid.<\/p>\n
Announced as an innovative corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) in 2023, the Mulwala Solar Farm will inject new clean energy capacity into the National Electricity Market (NEM). By bringing additional clean energy to the grid, this project supports Australia\u2019s broader energy transition and benefits the local community, while also advancing Google\u2019s ultimate aim to operate on carbon-free energy around the clock.<\/p>\n
