At the 2023 Infrastructure Investor Network Tokyo Forum, AirTrunk Head of Japan Nori Matsushita participated in a discussion on digital infrastructure trends in Japan.
Nori spoke about the increased focus on ESG commitments from the data centre industry, with operators and investors particularly focused on reducing carbon footprint through efficient designs and the procurement of renewable energy. He shared that our Japan data centres are great examples of continuous innovation, including our landmark ESG financing.
Nori appeared alongside Morimasa Matsuda from Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure, Roland Thompson from Green Power Investment Corporation a leading subsidiary of Pattern Energy Group, and Miho Kurosaki from Energy Impact Partners. 松下氏は、データセンター業界のESGコミットメントへのフォーカスが高まっていることについて述べ、オペレーターや投資家は特に、効率的な設計や再生可能エネルギーの調達による二酸化炭素排出量の削減に取り組んでいると説明しました。また、日本のデータセンターは、画期的なESGファイナンスを含む、継続的なイノベーションの素晴らしい例であることを紹介しました。
