Singapore – Asia Pacific & Middle East hyperscale data centre specialist, AirTrunk, today announced the official opening of its new regional headquarters in Singapore, located at the iconic Ocean Financial Centre.

Marking a decade in Singapore, the new headquarters reinforces AirTrunk’s long-term growth plans and its view of Singapore as a key regional gateway and global digital infrastructure hub.

Situated in Singapore’s financial and technology district, AirTrunk’s new regional headquarters features panoramic Marina Bay views and has been architecturally designed by Woods Bagot. The employee-led workplace incorporates wellness zones, flexible collaboration spaces and energy efficient design to support a high-performance, people-first culture.

Located within a BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy Building, the office reflects AirTrunk’s commitment to long-term talent investment in Singapore, housing senior executives and teams across design and innovation, development, operations, treasury, legal and corporate functions. AirTrunk expects strong growth in its workforce over the next several years as Singapore continues to serve as its Asia headquarters.

Since 2016, AirTrunk has committed several billion dollars of direct investment across three hyperscale facilities in Singapore totalling 180MW IT load. AirTrunk issued a landmark S$2.25 billion green loan to finance its second Singapore hyperscale data centre, SGP2, in August 2025 which was Singapore’s largest-ever loan and green loan for a data centre at that time.

AirTrunk Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Robin Khuda, said: “Singapore has been fundamental to AirTrunk’s growth over the past decade and remains central to our long-term Asia Pacific strategy. The launch of our new office signals our confidence in the country’s continued leadership in digital infrastructure and advanced AI ecosystems. As hyperscale demand continues to rise, we’re deepening our partnerships, investing in local talent and advancing sustainable operations to support the nation’s digital ambitions and the region’s growing infrastructure needs.”

Singapore’s 2026 Budget reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to strengthening its digital foundations, including accelerating AI adoption, enhancing digital trust, and building a resilient, high-performance compute environment. Under the National AI Strategy 2.0 and the Government’s additional S$1 billion investment in AI research and development, demand for secure, locally hosted compute continues to rise. This is driven by AI workloads that require low latency, strong governance frameworks and close integration with Singapore’s world-class research and talent ecosystem.

As one of Singapore’s largest hyperscale operators, AirTrunk is well positioned to support these national priorities. Its three data centres align with the Digital Connectivity Blueprint and Green Data Centre Roadmap, reinforcing Singapore’s role as a trusted, energy-efficient hub for advanced compute and digital infrastructure.

Minister for Digital Development & Information, Mrs. Josephine Teo delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, where she discussed Singapore’s strategy to build a sustainable, future-ready digital infrastructure. To read the full speech, click here.

Singapore Economic Development Board Executive Vice President, Mr. Pee Beng Kong, said: “AirTrunk’s decade long presence in Singapore, and its decision to establish its regional headquarters here, underscore Singapore’s role as a hub for global companies particularly in the technology sector. As global demand for AI and cloud services accelerates, we will continue to welcome companies like AirTrunk that are deepening their presence in Singapore and advancing research and innovation.”
