AirTrunk has launched our FY24 Sustainability Report, with our commitment to ‘catalyse change’, this year’s report theme.
The Sustainability Report spotlights our continued progress on the energy transition and net zero commitment, as we continue to work closely with our customers to match 100% of electricity consumption at all our sites with renewable energy by 2030.
We’ve also introduced the Embodied Carbon Ratio, a new internal metric designed to help drive impactful decarbonisation efforts. The report features a Q&A with Chief Development Officer Paul Slaven, with insights into the metric’s importance for the future of the built environment.
In parallel, the FY24 Climate & Nature Risk Report builds on our sustainability efforts with an ambitious alignment to the IFRS S2 and TNFD requirements. As one of the first data centre companies to report against IFRS S2 and a proud member of the inaugural cohort of TNFD Early Adopters, AirTrunk leads the way in climate and nature risk reporting.
The FY24 Climate & Nature Risk Report highlights include:
🌏 Our key climate-related risks and opportunities with mitigation strategies
🌿 Nature-related dependencies, impacts, and risks, and opportunities
♻ A holistic biodiversity strategy aimed at halting and reversing nature loss
AirTrunk’s Founder & CEO Robin Khuda said: “As AirTrunk continues to set new benchmarks in sustainability, we aim to inspire others to do so too. We recognise the responsibilities that come with the scale of our operations and the opportunity for further growth. I am very proud of the progress we have made towards meeting our targets, and look forward to working together with AirTrunkers and our stakeholders to continue creating a more sustainable future for generations to come.”
AirTrunk’s AVP, Sustainability, Jennifer Zheng, commented:“These reports reflect our transparency, leadership, and commitment to amplifying our progress and paving the way for the future. We’re driving continuous change through shared responsibility and collaboration to secure a sustainable future for our planet.”
